ATP Announces Increase in Nicotrol Inhaler Prescriptions, Nicorette Inhaler Launch in France, Earnings Report 

Advanced Tobacco Products Inc., d/b/a Advanced Therapeutic Products Inc. ("ATP") (OTCBB:AVTH) reported today that an update on key Nicotrol®/Nicorette® Inhaler activities was received at a recent May 7 meeting between ATP and Pharmacia Corporation ("PHA") at the PHA Consumer Healthcare headquarters in New Jersey.

According to Jim Linehan, President ATP, "Historically, the world-wide responsibility for PHA Consumer Healthcare had been administered from a PHA facility in Sweden where ATP had enjoyed a long-term relationship with key PHA management. PHA has now transitioned this responsibility to its New Jersey headquarters and on May 7 we met with the new management group now responsible for our ATP relationship. The principal Nicotrol®/Nicorette® Inhaler information provided by PHA at this meeting is summarized below."
