Intro: A comprehensive tobacco control program often gets confused by people. I am forever asked: "What is the silver bullet? Tell me the one thing that will get kids to stop smoking." It is a trap that we as politicians can fall into. I urge you not to look for a simple, one-shot solution. . .
California has a terrific model, honourable senators. . .
Someone said, Senator Taylor probably, that I must have shares in the tobacco company. That is not the point of my concern. I am opposed to smoking. . .
Bill S-15 is a tax bill, in my opinion. As such, it cannot properly be passed here . .
