He's real interested because Fogel, one of the hobby's heavyweight collectors of baseball memorabilia, figures to be there at the finish when the on-line auction ends on Thursday. He opened the bidding on Wednesday - at $500,000. Yes, that is a lot of peanuts and Crackerjack.
As of Friday, the bidding was up to $600,000.
