Student leaders hosting campus meeting Nov. 16

Intro: The University of Colorado Student Union would like to cordially invite you to a town hall meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 16 in the West Dining Room of the University Memorial Center -- in front of Domino's -- to talk about a few important issues on this campus.
The biggest of these issues is the news that we feel was incorrectly reported by many news sources in mid-October. The first of the reports said that CU is considering a campus-wide parking ban for all students. According to the reports, the reasoning for such a ban was because 75 percent of students already walk, bike or use the bus to get to campus.
A sigh of relief came for students at this school when university officials announced that the proposed ban would only be geared toward freshman.
The CU Student Union wants to make it clear to students that there are no talks to implement a campus-wide student parking ban at this university.
