Intro: Investigators believe they know what caused a fatal fire in downtown St. Louis early this morning.
The fire happened at Plaza Square Apartments, at 15th and Pine Streets. Investigators believe the handicapped 54-year-old victim was overcome by smoke in a small fire that was ignited in the bedroom.
