EDITORIAL: FDA on the case to stop smoking  

Although the nation's smoking rate has been in decline, one and five Americans still smoke and more than 400,000 of them die each year from smoking-related diseases. Kudos go to the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, medical groups and other advocacy groups for their insistence on tougher regulations.

The new tobacco bill gives America a chance to finally kick the habit.
