Intro: South Carolina legislators will get a bill this week to raise the state's cigarette tax.
A spokesman for House Speaker Bobby Harrell said Tuesday the Charleston Republican plans to introduce the bill this week. It calls for an increase of 50 cents a pack. The current 7 cents tax is the lowest in the country.
