Intro: Health officials in American Samoa are pleased that the Fono has approved legislation that would ban smoking in certain public places. But it is unclear if Gov. Togiola Tulafono will sign the measure into law.
"This is an important health issue and the Department of Health (DOH) is pleased with the final action by the Legislature," DOH medical director Dr. Ivan Tuliau told Pacific Magazine.
