The Czech inflation rate rose in September, driven by tobacco products, in what economists say is a temporary surge before it drops to the central bank's target as expected. . . .

Rising the most were prices of tobacco products that increased 4.6 percent from the previous month due to the delayed impact of an excise tax boost.
