Pictures will appear on cigarette packets to warn about the dangers of smoking.
Written warnings on packs have been a huge success, according to figures from the Department of Health.
Since their introduction in 2003, thousands of smokers have been motivated by the warnings to call the NHS Smoking Helpline - and it is hoped the visual wake up calls will be even more effective.
