Intro: Dennis Doughty has a long memory when it comes to the city considering taking action on banning smoking in public places.
"We had promised (action) this spring and spring is pretty much gone," Doughty, the council president, said Tuesday.
Council member Jack Covill, who heads up the city's Transportation Committee, said the panel was waiting for more information from the Chippewa County Department of Public Health.
