Intro: Munich - Smoking increases the risk of cervical cancer, according to the professional association of gynaecologists. An infection caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) could more easily lead to cancer of the cervix in a woman who smokes than in a non-smoker, the Munich-based association said.
