LETTER: Where do we draw the line on tobacco tax? 

If raising the tax on tobacco makes sense, then why not pull out all the stops and raise taxes on alcohol and food, as well as other things? . . .

where do we draw the line? It's unfair to tax one thing, such as tobacco, to pay for rising health care costs, when so many other things cause the same or worse long-term effects.
