Intro: Well they finally did it. The Iowa Legislature sold the many small-town bars down the river with this smoking ban ("Strict Smoking Ban Heads to Culver," April 9).
The Legislature did not consider that this will drive many places out of business. I did an informal poll of my friends who smoke, and about half say they will not frequent a bar that they cannot smoke in.
