Intro: KHAMMAM: More than 300 workers engaged in the harvest of the rain-hit tobacco at different places in the district were taken ill and hospitalised.
While one woman died in a private hospital, four others were in serious condition. They were shifted to MGM hospital in Warangal.
According to reports reaching here, some 60 workers who were engaged in the tobacco farms in Garla and Bayyaram mandals complained of giddiness and body pain.
