LETTER: Smoking law it wrong 

To Alex Vargas of Alamogordo and all others cut from the same cloth you or the state do not have the right to enforce an unconstitutional or illegal law. Sometimes the government is like big business; it needs a big fine to get their attention. If you are tired of paying these fines, stop pressing for the illegal laws. And yes, I have contacted my government on this and other issues.
