Intro:

A program that informs students at Chino Valley Unified School District about the risks of smoking will receive more than $400,000 in grant money to help continue its cause.

Project HALT (Healthy Adolescents Loathing Tobacco) educates high school students about smoking dangers through educational courses and anti-tobacco advocacy events. The money comes from a state fund that is awarded to districts and schools that show tobacco education to be most beneficial for their students.
