Tobacco chewing by men may harm their sperm counts, says a study by scientists in the US.

India born Ashok Agarwal of the Center for Advanced Research in Human Reproduction, Infertility, and Sexual Function at Cleveland, US, and other researchers found a possible link between tobacco chewing and infertility, reports the health portal WebMD.

The study included 638 men at an infertility clinic in Mumbai, India. All the men had been tobacco chewers for four to 10 years.
