Intro:

Prostop laser therapy is a successful method to quit smoking. Dr. M. Breteler of the Behavioral Science Institute of Radboud University in Nijmegen (The Netherlands) has researched the Prostop laser therapy method to quit smoking. His research revealed that 32 per cent of the smokers trying to kick the habit with this method actually succeeded in their efforts. . . .

The success rate of the Prostop laser therapy measured by Breteler was exactly 32.1 per cent. What's more, this percentage was based on the number of successful participants who did not smoke a single cigarette after the treatment. . . .

Breteler's research team also examined the predictors of success. Smokers whose partner did not smoke at the beginning of their attempt to quit were more successful than those with smoking partners. People who had already tried to quit smoking several times before were also more successful. Contrary to the expectations, nicotine dependency did not play a significant role.
