Intro: Saeima passed amendments today to tobacco restrictions in their final reading which stipulate stringent measures against smoking in public places.
The lawmakers hope that by curbing smoking, non-smokers in discotheques, cafes, sports facilities and other public places, would be protected from the hazardous influence of tobacco smoke.
