Schooling Children Aware of Tobacco Addiction Danger

Intro:

Pupils of the secondary and high education in Constantine are "very aware" of tobacco addiction danger on public health and on the ability to assimilate, according to a survey made by the epidemiology and prevention service of Constantine's teaching hospital.

This survey on tobacco addiction in the school milieu which concerned 1,238 pupils whose 57.2 % girls and 42.8 % boys, highlighted many indications showing the spread of tobacco addiction in the school milieu and the increasing number of girls who occasionally smoke and whose number reach 56,5 %.

Other indications also revealed by the investigation are nevertheless positive, since they show that 78.6 % of pupils wish to stop smoking.
