Intro: GlaxoSmithKline Plc GSK.L said on Tuesday that growth in U.S. prescriptions for asthma drug Advair, its top seller, had recovered since May when growth was just 12 percent.
Some industry analysts had expressed concern that demand had not picked up more strongly in the second quarter, following the medicine's approval to treat COPD, or smoker's cough.
