Azerbaijan limits alcohol and tobacco sales, imports

Azerbaijan's president Haydar Aliyev has signed a decree strengthening state control over the production, sale and import of spirits and tobacco, the presidential press service said on Monday.

The decree, published on Saturday, establishes import quotas for cigarettes and a variety of alcoholic drinks.

It also limits sale of alcohol and tobacco to shops.
