39,000 Tobacco Documents on CD

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rios Computers of Arlington, Virginia, a specialist in computer forensics, has announced the immediate availability of the 39,000 tobacco industry documents made public by Representative Tom Bliley (R-VA) of the House Commerce Committee. Up until today, access to these documents has been hampered by technical limitations; this release eliminates those difficulties, making the documents available to a wide range of interested parties. These documents can be purchased for $1500 per set of 20 CD's, or $100 per CD for individual company sets. A partial text database, so that the content of the documents can be searched preliminarily, will be available by June 6. A fully searchable document set will be available during the summer.
